You'll enjoy the shady picnic area whether you bring your own food or take advantage of the on-premises snack bar. The bathhouse makes it easy to change before driving home after a day in the sand. If you forget your lunch or decide to stay through supper hour, the Vernondale Store on Route 114 is near the park entrance. You'll find sandwiches, cold cuts, and cold drinks for an impromptu meal.
